Orlando is a Grammy award winning drummer and one of the most prolific drummers in both Jazz and Latin music. He is currently the drummer for Latin superstar Chayanne, and performed on Natalie Cole’s album “Natalie Cole En Españos”. Orlando won a Grammy for best Latin jazz performance for Arturo Sandoval’s Dance on “A mis Abuelos”, and his list of accolades is a formidable who’s-who of Jazz and Lain music including performances with the London Symphony Orchestra for BBC Television, James Moody at the Grenoble Jazz Festival, Don Alias at The Haugue Jazz Festival in Holland, just to name a few.
As a session and record artist, Orlando has worked with some of the true greats including, Chick Corea, Cristina Aguilera, Simon Phillips, Dave Weckl, John Robinson, Harvey Mason, Portino, and Lee Levin, Danilo Perez, Ramon Estagnado, Arturo Sandoval, Anthony Jackson, Nestor Torres, Jon Secada, Michael Bolton, Marc Anthony, K.C & The sunshine Band, Walfredo Reyes Jr., 2 Live Crew, Paquito D’rivera, Jose Feliciano, and countless others.
